The renovation of a commercial building main lobby is designed in harmony with an existing Isamu Noguchi sculpture, “Landscape of the Cloud.” In addition to the restoration of Noguchi’s installation of the ceiling and water sculptures, the re-design of the lobby features 12-foot high wood panel walls with stainless steel trimmings to complement Noguchi’s ceiling, which produces a cloud-like effect, and lighting designed to highlight Noguchi’s water sculpture. The lobby also includes a blackened steel reception desk with a silver leaf ceiling above.
