Project Renewal is a Not-For-Profit organization whose mission is to end the cycle of homelessness by empowering individuals and families to renew their lives with health, homes and jobs.  

They have recently completed a two phase project in the Bronx that provides, affordable and supportive housing with amenities such as a Clinic, Occupational Therapy and a Library and Resource Center. The new development is named Bedford Green House which has over two hundred private apartments.  

Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel, Architects, DPC was the Interior Architect for the Library and Resource Center. It is a 1,200 sq ft facility. There is a full time librarian who manages the library and also provides tutoring for the residents so they can become successful members of society.
