Institute for Community Living

New York, NY

40,000 square feet

Institute for Community Living (ICL), a non-for-profit organization that provides services for individuals and families affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance abuse and homelessness, required a relocation of its headquarters to accommodate its growth. With many facilities across the four boroughs, the new Manhattan headquarters serves as a hub for the organization's corporate office functions as well as conferencing and staff-training needs. The office design features primarily open workstations with a few enclosed offices, boardroom, lunchroom, multi-purpose room, filing rooms, pantries, reception area, and a training room with a foldable partition to increase the flexibility of the space.
