NYCHA - Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY

62,000 square feet

Located in a converted space that is originally a tire factory warehouse, the New York City Housing Authority Brooklyn branch is a 2-story renovation and adaptive reuse project that features a ground floor lobby, waiting rooms, a customer service center, an 100-person assembly space, interview rooms, video conferencing rooms, a lunchroom, training rooms, conference rooms and general office space.  The inherent industrial design elements from the original warehouse were adopted and drove the concept of the NYCHA design from layout to the choice of finishes, lighting fixtures and furniture, including the incorporation of an exposed ceiling plan and rough columns.
