The Dupont

The architectural design of the 41-story residential tower in Greenpoint Landing pays homage to the neighborhood’s industrial heritage through its bold use of Béton Brut, or architectural concrete, inspired by the 19th-century Greenpoint Glass Works. The façade features intricate, crystal-like patterns achieved with self-consolidating concrete, contrasting etched granite columns, and bronze banding. A multi-story podium with tapered setbacks draws attention to the central tower, which rises uniformly and is accented by a diagrid of slender beams across a curtain of glass and metal panels. The exposed concrete not only serves as structure and finish but also showcases the material’s aesthetic potential, eliminating the need for additional cladding while improving safety, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.

The building offers a collection of studios, 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments and 20,000 square feet of amenities, including a rooftop clubhouse with heated outdoor swimming pool, private dining lounge, a social lounge, a spa, garden terrace, a fitness center, a yoga studio, children’s playroom and on-site parking.
